Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a program that mails a free book once a month to children from birth to age five.

Inspired by her father’s inability to read and write, Dolly started her Imagination Library in 1995. The Morton-James Public Library works as an affiliate with the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to bring the program to Nebraska City families. Funding for the program is provided by the Harry and Grace Moller Library Endowment.

Preschool children age birth to five years who are residents of Nebraska City with a 68410 zip code are eligible.

Registration forms are available in the Children’s Library. You may also download the Imagination Library Registration Form  and mail or bring the filled-out form to the library.
