June 2nd – Science Tellers

“Dragons: Return of the Ice Sorceress”
A long time ago, in a faraway land, two brave villagers go on a daring journey to release the dragons and save the kingdom from an evil Ice Sorceress. When things don’t go as planned, however, the kids might need to look to themselves — and to science! — for the answer.
Don’t miss this fun fantasy adventure featuring awesome dry ice experiments as special effects!

June 9th – Imaginative Art: Exploring Weird and Wacky Art History

Vegetable people? Soup cans? The old guy with a pitchfork? Join Miss Amanda as we explore some weird and wacky art from different ages of art history!

This program will be available in video format on the Morton-James Public Library website on Tuesday, June 9th.

June 16th – Keep Nebraska City Beautiful presents on recycling!

This program will be available in video format on the Morton-James Public Library website on Tuesday, June 16th.

June 30th – Linda Stephen Origami

Join origami picture book author Linda Stephen in making a paper craft and reading her new children’s book The Day We Went to the Park. The art for the book includes more than 1,000 origami sculptures and hundreds of handmade papers. Lincoln artist Linda Stephen exhibits her origami landscapes nationally. Her art is part of collections around the world.

July 7th – Mr. Nick and Friends

With Mr. Nick, you never know who is going to show up!

This program will be available in video format on the Morton-James Public Library website on Tuesday, July 7th.

July 14th – Wildlife Encounters

Join us to learn about animals adaptations, history, geography, and cool facts about an array of animal ambassadors!

This program will be streamed with a program link and password. Stay tuned for an update on this information.

July 21st – Mermaid Harmony Story Time

This program will be available in video format on the Morton-James Public Library website on Tuesday, July 21st.

Picture Book Story Times on Wednesdays!

Picture Book Story Times will be livestreamed on Facebook at 10:00 AM on Wednesdays in June and July.
